Spyros Maris is a third-year economics student at the University of Glasgow concentrating in finance. He is also an analyst at Focus Finance. Last year he was the Finance Coordinator of TedX University of Glasgow and the Finance Team Leader of Glasgow Economic Forum, a student-led annual economics conference taking place in Glasgow. More recently he completed an internship with Amplify Trading where he gained insight into both the buy-side and the sell-side divisions and competed in asset management and trading simulations. He has been accepted to spend the second semester of 2020/2021 at Singapore Management University (SMU) as part of a study abroad programme.
